Whenever the opportunity arises, try something new! Our first time snowshoeing was an absolutely fantastic experience, albeit we may have slightly underestimated how slowly we would be moving. The sunset was drawing in and we were thankful we had packed headlamps… albeit in the end we made it back to the gondola (and the mulled wine!) just before sunset.
