You’ll have to wait patiently for the review I’m afraid as it’s currently 30+ degrees, blue skies and that stifling humidity which goes hand in hand with summer in Queensland…
I spent so much time swithering between a few different options, but decided to go with the UK brand The Omm, as the Kamleika race smock was so consistently well reviewed and The Omm themselves were extremely fast and helpful in responding to my sizing queries. It’s a unisex style but fits perfectly!
I ordered online from the UK based Ultralight Outdoor Gear Store and within a few business days, the smock had arrived from the UK Â to Australia…which is impressive given that an Australian bank (who will remain unnamed, for now) have failed to send me a replacement credit card, three weeks and seven phone calls later…
I’ve a multiday hiking trip coming up in New Zealand so it will be stashed in my pack for then… and it’s biggest test will be in September – I’ve a lot of trail running and racing planned around Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. More on that another time. Can’t wait!
Not to worry, that face doesn’t come with the jacket…
